At boulder morty's, we put safety first. We have taken the highest possible precautions to ensure our guests have a safe and fun experience in our gym. We utilize a top-rope climbing system — the rope goes over a fixed anchor at the top of the wall. We use the Petzl GriGri belay device. This is an auto-locking device. When the climber falls, the GriGri automaticaly locks, minimizing the fall of the climber. Our harnesses all feature an automatic "double-back" buckle system. This is adjusted to a proper fit, it is locked and will not open.

Prior to climbng, all climbers and belayers receive safety instructions to ensure a safe and positive climbing experience.
